Video Instruction and Troubleshooting
What is the recommended age?
The recommended age is 14 and older.
What is the velocity of the blaster? and what caliber?
In the case of the SRB400, in full-auto mode, up to 8 rounds per second are sent downrange at a velocity of up to 200 fps. Hydrated beads can vary in size from 7.3 – 7.8 mm can affect fps.
How do I use they hydrator bottle?
1 Use with 500 pack of ammo
2 Pour in and fill full of water
3 Takes 3-4 hours to hydrate to size ½ – 1-inch ballsCan I use other ammo that is not SplatRBall?
Our SplatRBall products have been tested to be used with our SplatRBall certified ammo. Using other ammo that is not SplatRBall certified might damage the blaster and will void the warranty.
How does the magazine work?
There is a pin in the magazine that keeps the beads from falling out. You will need to remove the pin to unload the beads from the magazine. The magazine has a wheel that pushes the beads up when the beads are in the tube. If beads are not in the tube but are in the magazine, it will not advance. You would need to refill the magazine again to push beads into tube to start it advancing again. When done shooting, unload after each use.
I don't know how to take care of the battery
My blaster won’t shoot. It makes noise but nothing comes out, or nothing comes out when I shoot.
There are several reasons that your SplatRBall Blaster won’t shoot. One is that the ammo was not left to hydrate in water long enough. Let ammo hydrate for four hours minimum. Another reason the blaster is not sending ammo downrange is that the magazine gear is clogged. Look through the semi-transparent magazine to check for ammo fragments around the gear. To clear the clog, grip the magazine at the bottom and sling it in a downward motion (don’t drop it!). Ammo fragments should fall out.
My blaster is making a high-pitched whining noise and will not shoot.
Turn the blaster upside down and locate a small hold in the bottom of the pistol grip. Insert a 2mm hex allen wrench into the hold and tighten.
My blaster is not shooting consistently, sometimes it will not shoot on single shot just rapid fire, or not at all.
Check for bead fragments inside the gun, not just the magazine, if that doesn’t clear and correct the issue please contact us through the form on splatrball.com or by calling (479) 621-4200.
My battery isn’t holding a charge / My battery wires broke/show wear / The clip on my battery wire fell off.
Do Not Use the battery. If your battery or wires show any wear or decline in performance, it must be taken to a battery disposal facility and you will need another. If the gun is under warranty, please call (479) 621-4200.

Can I use other ammo that is not SplatRBall?
We recommend that you do not use any other ammo other than orange SplatRBall beads. Utilizing any other ammo can result in damage to the product which will not be covered under warranty.
How long does the SplatRBall ammo stay hydrated? Can I rehydrate them?
If you keep the beads in water in a sealed container, they will stay hydrated indefinitely. If they are in the magazine it can take several days before dehydration begins, same as if they were left out on the counter. We recommend that when not in use they stay hydrated, but they will remain hydrated for a good while before needing to be rehydrated, and you can rehydrate as many times as needed.
Why is the SplatRBall ammo not exploding on impact?
If the ammo isn’t hydrated for the full 4 hours it’s possible that they will bounce off of target and not explode on impact.
My SplatRBall MINI 375 will not fire, or will fire intermittently
The MINI 375 uses a gravity fed hopper, because of that hopper, the blaster will often not fire unless it is in horizontal position. Aim up or down, and if the reservoir is not full, it might not fire. This is inherent in all gravity fed hoppers.
